Bokeh CTFC Graduate Show 2016

The Cape Town Fashion Council in association with the Bokeh international fashion film festival hosted a graduate fashion show on Friday, 22 April 2016 – and CTCFD had an incredible 7 graduates selected to showcase their best designs.

Graduates from 2015 included Belinda King, who showcased a look from her hand painted, 1960s inspired collection entitled ‘Orphism’; while Domonique Lezar showed the final look from her ‘New Garden’ collection. Tangeni Kambudu showcased one of the most exciting looks from his graduate collection – a fully digitally printed tailored suit (seen above right).

Four 2016 graduates were also selected to showcase designs on the day, Rebecca Odendaal’s look incorporated a multitude of texture – including a fur cropped polo neck. Jason Warwick wowed with impeccably tailored menswear, Amber-Rose Hennings’ look boasted chunky hand knitting, and Paige Martins showcased an all-black look that played with strapping and shine.

We were so impressed with the level of work seen on the runway on Friday. A big thank you to the Cape Town Fashion Council, and to Bokeh for their ongoing support of emerging talent!
